Doorman is the solution created by Wi-Next for the management of a wireless network that take care of its users.

Management System
This system includes the tools allowing administrators to manage at best the rights of the users. Each user belongs to any of the predefined groups; the parameters of configuration can be set both for single user and for the group.

Group management
The parameters for the use of the network can be specified for each group.

• priority level for services (Internet surfing, email, VoIP services, P2P, ftp, etc.)
• available bandwidth for users and typologies of services

Users management
Specific parameters for the use of the network can be defined for each user (integrating those of the group he belongs to).

• access info and rights of use
• personal and contractual info
• advanced setting for the authentication (fixed IP or network address setting, access allowed only from predefined address)

Traffic monitoring
The users management system include advanced tools for the monitoring of the traffic offering a detailed analysis of the use of the network and the service level available.

For the protection of the users these tools work in the full respect of privacy regulation.

Monitoring platform is also fully compliant with the requirement of the “Legge n. 155/2005” (conversion of “d.l. n. 144/2005 - Legge Pisanu”).
